Spooky Season

Undoubtedly, October is one of my favorite times of the year in Chattanooga. I adore Halloween. It also starts cooling off, the leaves start changing colors, and the dahlias explode to life! It’s been such a treat to be in our new shop and we knew we wanted to do a big floral piece just for this special time. We created a fun event for it at the shop and invited anyone who wanted to participate. We drank wine, snacked, and built a spooky floral…

Floral Design Workshop

We were so excited to host our first workshop in our new flower shop on Market Street. We invited Saree Silverman, a sculpture artist and floral designer, to host an ‘Intuitive Floral Design’ class this past Saturday. It was an amazing experience and we are so grateful to be able to offer educational experiences in this space. In the future, we plan on hosting more design workshops, seed starting and other gardening skills, kids workshops and more. Follow us on Instagram or Facebook to learn…

Flower Shop Grand Opening

Since we have had such great feedback from our wonderful clients and customers in Chattanooga for our first brick and mortar space, we have decided to open up a permanent location on 1263 Market St. This shop will be a showcase of our flower shop dreams. It will be a European styled flower market with vintage touches and an old world charm. We have an old historic space with beautiful exposed brick. In addition to a wide selection of flowers available by the stem, we…

Bye Bye Bye 2020

Goodbye 2020, Hello 2021! Last year was tough and I am pretty happy it’s a brand new year. I wanted to go back and try to pick our some of my favorite moments from 2020. 1. We built a no-contact farm stand in a weekend (just Andrew and myself) when the pandemic first hit and quarantine was in effect. And it worked! We are in awe of the amount of support we received from our community. On many of the days it would completely sell…

Wildflower & Lavender Wedding in Chattanooga

We had the privilege of working with some outstanding vendors a couple of months ago on this beautiful styled shoot at Howe Farms We wanted the florals to come off as a bit wildflower and garden designed. We incorporated lavender, cosmos, lisianthus, dara, dahlias, strawflower, and more. We loved the soft and romantic look this created. If you look below, you can see some of the reception details. We have a beautiful floral chandelier that we use for wedding styling (and is available to rent)…

Fall to Winter on the Farm

The passage of time this year has seemed truly impossible to track, and I know we’re not alone in that.  March seemed to drag on forever, and then once April danced by suddenly it was Halloween and then Thanksgiving, and it felt like our floral season had less of a bittersweet wind-down and more of an abrupt stop.  We took a short break for the beginning of November to let our brains and bodies hard reset in the Mexico heat to prepare for our fall…

COVID-19 and Our Farm

It has been a wild ride trying to navigate the world amidst a global pandemic. We would usually be popping up all around Chattanooga in our flower truck, the Blumenwagen. Instead all pop-ups are cancelled until further notice. We are trying to do our part with social distancing but also as a small farm, we are trying to survive. Thankfully to some creative brainstorming and from suggestions from our Chattanooga community, we have come up with a couple of different ways to responsibly keep supplying…

Valentine’s Day Hoorah

This year we are having our first flower pop-up a month early beginning on February 13th. We are kicking off our 2020 flower season at the same location we began and ended our season last year: The Mad Priest! We will be bringing our beautiful anemones and local greenery as well as ranunculus, tulips, waxflower, stock, and more flowers ethically sourced from US farms. On February 14th, we will be beginning our day at Bluegrass Grill (8:30AM-12:30PM) and from 1:00-5:00PM we will be set up…
